From Schoolmate to Soulmate

Binondo has been one of the couples’ favorite places for their special dates. No wonder, they decided to hold their wedding ceremony at Binondo Church. Surrounded by closed family and friends, Bonn and Cherie couldn’t be more happy on that day. Being a step away from the Church, Ramada Manila was their first choice for the wedding reception venue. As Cherie said, “Choosing Ramada provides convenience and comfort not only to us but also to our guests who some of them came from far distance and by far, they have the most reasonable wedding packages in Manila.” “The Team was very hands-on, they even made our photobooth layout because we didn’t like the one given to us by the supplier. The food and service were excellent. Everybody had a great time as much as we did.” Bonn and Cherrie went with classical with touch of blue and white as their wedding theme. “We wanted it to be simple and yet elegant. What matters the most was being able to share our moment with our loved ones.“

Kerwin and Genalyn

From Friends to Lovers

Fate had found a way for Kerwin and Genalyn to eventually fall and stay in love. When Kerwin and Genalyn first met, Genalyn was dating someone else and their meet up was purely because of a Church service. Months had passed that meetings between the two lessened. One day, Kerwin won two movie tickets and was looking for someone to go with him. He called up some friends but to no avail, none of them are free. Kerwin was dismayed to put the other ticket to waste. He then tried his luck and called Genalyn. She was at first hesitant to go but eventually said yes. The same answer Genalyn gave a year after when Kerwin had popped the question. 

The Binondo Church holds a special place in Kerwin’s heart. His Christening, Confirmation and Wedding, were all held in this Church. Genalyn who had experience in wedding management knew that their venue for the wedding reception should not be a hassle for their guests. “Ramada Manila was our first and only choice. We didn’t look in to other wedding packages in Manila, not only because the hotel is situated right beside Binondo Church, but also because of the hassle-free inclusions of the wedding packages they offer. We commend how the Banquet Team was sensitive to our needs and to our guests’ needs most especially during the actual reception”, Genalyn shared. “Pagtapos ng reception, naaaalala ng guests yung pagkain, di naman ang couple,” Kerwin jokingly said, “We weren’t able to eat much during the reception, but our guests applauded the food.”

3 months after their wedding day, the couple was blessed with a baby girl who shows great resemblance with Kerwin when he was child. Without second thoughts, Kerwin and Genalyn decided to hold their daughter’s baptismal in Binondo Church and followed by a reception here also at Ramada. It was during that occasion that the couple confirmed their guests’ comments about the food during their wedding reception.
